($0)<\/h1>\n<p>zam-plugins is a collection of LV2\/LADSPA\/VST\/JACK audio plugins for sound processing developed in-house at ZamAudio. The default settings and almost every slider is calibrated to standard ranges.<\/p>\n<p>Installation of lv2 is a manual process by unzipping the plugins and saving the bundle in a designated path. The paths are documented <a href=\"http:\/\/lv2plug.in\/pages\/filesystem-hierarchy-standard.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a> for all operating systems.\u00a0 macOS has a pkg installer instead on releases below.<\/p>\n<h2>zam-plugins for GNU\/Linux, Windows and macOS:<\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zamaudio\/zam-plugins\/releases\">https:\/\/github.com\/zamaudio\/zam-plugins\/releases<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>For those who can&#8217;t wait to get their hands on the source code, it is also available on <a href=\"http:\/\/github.com\/zamaudio\/zam-plugins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">github<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A big thankyou to falktx for writing <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/falkTX\/DPF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Distrho Plugin Framework<\/a>. It has enabled me to make these GUIs for zam-plugins quickly and neatly. Also thanks to mira, nphilipp, adi, edogawa and Haskellfant who helped package the software for different distros!<\/p>\n<h2>ZaMaximX2<\/h2>\n<p>One of the best plugins in the series, this acts as a brickwall limiter for mastering in its default state, but can also be tweaked to raise the average level as a stereo maximizer without ever clipping. Sounds musical even with rough treatment. It has independent gain control attack and release with knee makes it versatile and superior.
